Mount the Wire Management Box in a location close to the eventual
location of the audio video rack or cabinet.

Fasten onto vertical surface making sure there is enough room for all of
the wire to easily be pulled into it without stress on the cables.

From
the first room, pull the speaker wires and control and signal wires into
the RTB-B1. Keep speakers on the right side and control and signal wiring
on the left.

Strip ½” of the speaker wire jacket from the end of the wire.

Take
a #2.5 flat head screwdriver and insert it into the terminal block spring
clamp to open up wire clamp. Make sure you follow the marking tags on the
side of the terminal block so rooms are wire together and left and right
speakers are wired correctly.

Push
wire into hole making sure no strands of speaker wire are sticking out.

Remove screwdriver and tug on wire to ensure a secure connection.

Make
a notation on the Wiring Documentation Sheet included in your manual of
the correct location of each speaker wire (i.e. kitchen = zone 1, dining
room = zone2 etc.)

Terminate all control and signal wires with appropriate connectors (cat-5,
F-Conn, etc.) and attach them to the RTB-S6 adapter in the correct
location.

Make
a notation on the Wiring Documentation Sheet included in your manual of
the correct location of each control and signal wire.

repeat steps 3 thru 10 for each room

Secure the RTB-S6 single gang wall plates on the RTB-AB angled bracket
inside the RTB-B1.

Copy
room labels onto “Office Copy” of Wiring Documentation Sheet.

After all rooms are done and noted on the wire documentation sheet place
it inside the RTB-B1 and secure the RTB-PC cover plate onto the box to
protect wires and connectors.
